FAQ
How does this differ from a normal session?
These minis are a shorter, condensed version of my full family portrait sessions. There will be multiple families on the same day and a set time per family. The location is chosen by me and there is less flexibility and customisation than a full session. Think of it as a taster or a way to get a few family images if your budget won't stretch to a full session
What should I wear?
My advice is always to wear what you feel your best in - whatever that means for you. I tend to find neutral colours work best and having some cohesion among family members - also avoid any bold patterns or logos!
What sort of pictures will I get?
My photography style is called 'lifestyle', which is a cross between formal, posed pictures and documentary style. I might prompt you to interact with each other but I won't tell you where to look or put your hands.
The pictures will capture your family's natural interactions - like your little one grabbing your hand or snuggling in to you ❤️

What if it rains?
We are in Manchester so I am fully prepared for this to happen! A bit of drizzle will still make for great photos - in fact a cloudy sky is actually better than full sun for portraits! I have clear umbrellas and an eye for good sheltered spots!
In the event of substantial bad weather I will re-arrange the sessions for the next day in the first instance (so I recommend keeping this free) or the following weekend if necessary. I will be as flexible as possible with this, however in the event that you are unable to make a rescheduled date I will of course offer a full refund
Do I need to be confident in front of a camera?
Not at all! Trust me, I absolutely hate having my picture taken so I know how you feel! I focus on capturing connection so I won't be asking you to pose or look at me and I do my utmost to make you feel relaxed and comfortable - I promise you'll be so engrossed engaging with your little ones that you'll forget I'm even there!
How much does it cost?
The price for the session is £75. This includes the session time and 3 digital photo downloads.
